What is Frodsham Free Press?
It’s a celebration of our unique, community-driven town and surrounding areas (Helsby, Kingsley, Sutton Weaver).
British town centres are often dominated by high street chains, betting shops, or vacant premises. Frodsham is one of the few places thriving with independent shops, eateries, bars, leisure and more, all with interesting stories and advice to share.
Here you’ll not only find what’s happening in the area, but also recipe ideas from your favourite cafes/restaurants, interior design/DIY advice from tradies, as well as promotions and competitions

Who's the editor?
A local resident with a media background
My name’s Steph and I’ve lived in the local area for several years now. My day job is a self-employed PR professional, which I’ve done for the past 15 years, so I have spent all that time working closely with some of the UK’s biggest national newspapers and magazines, as well as regional titles – so I have an eye for good content!
I love the local area, but I noticed a lack of a local lifestyle magazine despite the area being thriving with independent businesses and events. Sure, we have regional mags like Cheshire Life, Cheshire Magazine and more, but they cover broader areas and many aren’t actually available to buy in Frodsham town centre.
Frodsham Free Press is a project to unite the town, help local businesses and celebrate the area and its people.
